"Angel Eyes" is a song written by John Hiatt and Fred Koller, produced by Greg Ladanyi for The Jeff Healey Band's first album ''See the Light'' (1988). It was first released as the album's second single in June 1989 (see 1989 in music) and peaked at #5 on the ''Billboard'' Hot 100 and #24 on ''Billboard'' 's Mainstream Rock Tracks. It was later covered by ''Australian Idol'' series one contestant Paulini and became her first #1 single in Australia.
